Largly unknown by British skiiers, Engelberg is on of Switzerlands best kept secrets. It is located at the end of a sunny valley and is dominated by the impressive Mount Titlis which stands at over 3,200m in hight.Engelberg is a friendly, traditional and unsasuming village that has something for everyone. The glacer is located just 2km above the village meaning skiing is guaranteed year round.
There is plenty of Skiing for all levels on uncrowded slopes and for the more advanced among you there is alot of off piest skiing to keep you happy.
Off the slopes and after dark there are some excelant bars and pubs to keep you happy and even a casino where you can gamble the night away,
If you fancy a day off the slopes you can try tobogganing, or visit the sports centre, try ice skating or paragliding for those adrenalin junkies among you.
