Resort Description
This resort hosted a very sucessful Winter Olympics in 1994, and the area itself has an excellant snow record that ensures a lenghthy winter sports season. The main ski area is Hafjell which is approximatly 20 Mins away by free ski bus. This area is where many of the ski events took place. Lillehammer is considered Norways oldest winter sports resorts and provides a good mix of exciting winter activites and Norwegian tradition.Apres ski is livley and there is a great range of pubs and bars from traditional to livley and even international discos to keep everyone happy. For eating out again the choice is vast and everyone will find something to suit there tasts.
In resort activites include Olympic Bobsleigh and luge track, dog-sleding, night skiing, sleigh rides, ice skating and tobogganing.
