Resort Description

Sansicario is a little known village in the heart of the Milky Way, situated between Sauze D'Oulx and Sestriere Sansicario was hoem to a number of events at the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics including the womens downhill.

Acess to the Milky Way is easy from this small resort, the 2006 Winter Olympics helped to open up this area with a new "bubble lift" over to Sestriere providing easy access to a large number of challeging runs. There is also a good link to Sauze for the boarders where there is an extensive board park with jumps and rails.

Apres Ski is low key however there is still a reasonable number of bars and restaurants
