Resort Description
Set in beautiful, unspoilt scenery, Italy’s La Thuile resort enjoys breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. La Thuile is linked to La Rosiere in France, creating the opportunity for you to ski in two countries!La Thuile offers excellent, snow-sure skiing for all abilities, over the 150K of pistes in its combined ski area. The nursery slopes are ideal for beginners and intermediates have a vast choice of runs to explore. Extensive off-piste areas and steep wooded descents will test even the most confident skiers. Snowboarding is popular in La Thuile, with long routes over varied terrain.
The après-ski is relaxed, in a small village that has retained its traditional character. Mainly Italian cuisine is served in the restaurants.
Take the chance to combine shopping and sight seeing with an excursion to Courmayeur or Aosta weekly market. A range of health and leisure activities are available at the modern Planibel Centre, including swimming, gym, squash, tennis and pool.
La Thuile is one of the few remaining resorts where you can enjoy excellent, crowd-free skiing as well as good value for money and a friendly atmosphere.
