Resort Description

The traditional resort of Courmayeur nestles beneath the peak of Mont Blanc, Europes highest mountain.

From Courmayeur you also have the opportunity to explore the neighbouring resort of La Thuile and to ski in France at Chamonix. The impressive, high altitude skiing area is suitable for all abilities. Beginners will appreciate the easy runs and the quality tuition. An abundance of steep descents will challenge intermediates and the advanced will be thrilled by the off-pistes areas and a 9K long run! A dedicated snow park and a vast choice of routes await snowboarders.

Courmayeur is a bustling medieval town with narrow cobbled streets, full of character and atmosphere. The aprs-ski is varied and ranges from cocktail bars, to cosy bars with log fires, to discos with dancing on the tables! Over fifty restaurants serve delicious local and Italian cuisine to suit all budgets.

Courmayeur is a shoppers delight, with an array of stylish boutiques and a weekly market. You can also keep fit by ice-skating, swimming and playing tennis or squash. Will you make it to the top of the climbing wall?

With an enviable skiing area and excellent facilities, Courmayeur has every ingredient for a wonderful holiday.
