Resort Description

The glacier resort of Cervinia is dominated by the awesome Matterhorn and is surrounded by stunning scenery. Cervinia is connected to Zermatt, so you have the opportunity to ski in both Italy and Switzerland!

Cervinia offers high altitude skiing, long hours of sunshine and excellent snow conditions. The selection of difficult pistes will exhilarate the expert, in particular the 22K descent from Plateau Rosa. Some sweeping runs will delight intermediates and the 8K Ventia run is not to be missed. Learners will make fast progress on the nursery slopes and with the help of the ski school. A snow park, with separate sections for beginners and the advanced, combined with a choice of routes, will please snowboarders.

The aprs-ski in the village is vibrant and relaxed and live music plays until late. The Irish bar and an ice-rink pub are definite highlights! Will you strike lucky in the casino one evening? The excellent restaurants serve mainly Italian cuisine at reasonable prices.

Why not treat yourself in Cervinias shops and boutiques? Alternatively, keep fit by swimming, tobogganing or ice-skating.

Cervinia is increasing popular, with its hospitable atmosphere and skiing to thrill all levels.
