Resort Description
Valmorel is definatly an intermediates palyground with over 152km of perfectly groomed pistes. There is also a specially reserved area for beginners making it a great place to learn to ski aswell. The resort is purpose built but is designed in traditional style with pretty wooden buildings so does give the feel of something more traditional. The village is made up of serveral hamlets and has a very friendly feel.
Apres ski is small but perfectly formed and very much has the fun factor feel about it, with lots of atmosphere, from cosy drinks in front of log fires to dancing on tables in the local nightclub there is something for you what ever you feel like doing. There is also a good range of local restaurants for eating out.
Other facilites include parapenting, airboarding, torchlit descent, ice climbing, tobogganing, fitness centre, walking trails and a small open markey once a week.
