Resort Description

The pine shrouded, purpose-built resort of Les Arcs is set high in Frances Tarentaise Valley.

Les Arcs enjoys guaranteed snow and access to the Paradiskis 420K of pistes, via its link to La Plagne. Les Arcs boasts one of Frances best ski schools. Its Ski Evolutif method uses mini skis to start, stop and turn. The selection of tree-lined runs will delight intermediates. Experts will be challenged by the off-pistes opportunities and the 7K Aiguille Rouge, boasting Europes largest vertical drop of 2026m! Snowboarding arrived in Europe at Les Arcs and the varied terrain will thrill boarders.

Les Arcs comprises of four villages. The aprs-ski is lively and informal in Arc 1800, 1950 and 2000, with live music playing until late. If you prefer a quieter evening, Arc 1600 has a more traditional village atmosphere. The restaurants serve tempting international cuisine.

Spread your wings and fly at Les Arcs! Whether you choose the flying kilometre ski speed track, hand-gliding, paragliding or a helicopter ride, the panoramic view is sure to be exhilarating! Horse riding, bowling, a climbing wall, tennis and squash courts, a gym and ice-skating are also available.
