Set in the magnificent Savoie French Alps, La Plagne is one of the world’s most famous and largest skiing resorts. It comprises of ten villages, each with unique character.La Plagne is a high altitude glacier resort with guaranteed snow, offering sunny skiing over 425K of marked pistes. English speaking instructors help beginners off to a good start and the routes through the forest will delight intermediates. The near vertical 2000m drop down the Bellecote glacier will challenge the nerves and skills of experienced skiers! There’s a dedicated snow park and off-pistes challenges for snowboarders.
The après-ski is lively with a wide selection of discos and bars, many playing live music.
La Plagne’s massive choice of restaurants cater for all tastes. Why not try some of the local specialities?
Resort attractions include open air swimming, an open air flood-lit ice rink, ice hockey and the Olympic bob sleigh run. Alternatively, sit back and watch a film in English at one of the three cinemas.
