The picture postcard, lakeside resort of Zell am See is situated close to the summit of Austria’s Schmittenhohe Mountain.

This snow-sure resort lies at the heart of the Europa Sport region and enjoys access to the
glacier in neighbouring Kapron. Zell am See offers skiing for all ability levels. Beginners will appreciate the quality ski school and manageable slopes. An 8K descent with a vertical drop will set the adrenalin of intermediates pumping! Skiing through the forest and a choice of off-pistes runs will delight the advanced. Zell am See boasts a reputation for excellent snowboarding terrain.

Zell am See has retained its traditional charm; with medieval buildings and pavement cafes lining the streets. There’s colourful, lively après-ski to suit all ages. You’ll be spoilt for choice in forty restaurants, serving Austrian, Chinese, Italian and French dishes.
