Resort Description
Schladming lies amidst the beautiful Dachstein mountain range in the province of Styria. Four linked mountains provide over 111km of marked runs as well as some off piste oppotunites and world cup downhill runs. The 1982 world championships were held in this area and really helped to put Schladming on the map as a world class ski resort.
A large and bustling village Schladming dates back to medieval times and has great character that is typical of the Austrian chocolate box villages we see in pictures.
Apres ski is lively and cosmopolitan with a wide variety of bars and nightclubs. There is also a good range of restaurants from a la carte to little cafes and pizzarias.
