Resort Description

The picturesque Austrian village of Scheffau enjoys spectacular views of the majestic Wilder Kaiser Mountains.

Scheffau is a great starting point for the Ski Welt, Austrias largest linked ski area, with 250K of pistes to explore! The resort is noted for its excellent snow conditions. Scheffau is an ideal place to learn and beginners will appreciate the un-crowded gentle runs. A fantastic range of scenic slopes will delight intermediates, whilst the challenging on and off-pistes descents will test the experts. Snowboarders will be entertained by the varied terrain and the wide novice slopes are great for first timers.

Scheffaus aprs-ski is quiet, friendly and informal, in a village that exudes traditional Austrian charm. Delicious local and international cuisine is served in the restaurants.

Away from the pistes, an excursion to Salzburg or Innsbruck is sure to fascinate you. An enchanting candlelit walk is not to be missed. Tobogganing, sleigh rides, winter walks and skittles are also available.

Scheffau is the perfect choice if you are looking for a relaxing skiing holiday in beautiful surroundings.
