Obergurgl sits almost on top of the world! It lies at the heart of Austria’s spectacular Otz Valley, surrounded by majestic mountains and shimmering glaciers.Obergurgl enjoys a long season and was recently voted the most snow-sure resort in Europe! The exhilarating steep descents and off-pistes opportunities will test the advanced. All standards will have great fun competing in the weekly ski race! Make the most of superb skiing on Solden’s glacier too, during an “away day”. Obergurgl is known as snowboarding’s “little gem”.
The après-ski in Obergurgl’s unspoilt village is lively and varied and the traditional Austrian beer kellers are a must! The restaurants serve a tempting selection of local and international dishes. Will you try your luck in the casino one evening?
