Resort Description

South Lake Tahoe hugs the lake shore and the state line with low key, low rise and laid back Californian buildings in contrast to the neon lights,big name showes and 24 hour glitz and excitement of the Nevada casinos.

Behind all this lies the enormous ski area of Heavenly as well as shuttle buses to the many ski resorts and areas arount Lake Tahoe including Squaw Valley.

Apres ski in Lake Tahoe is livley and varied, with a wide variety of bars to choose from. There are also a large number of places to eat out to suit every task from burgers to steaks and even a large number of international choices.

Other in resort activites include snowmobiling, ice skating,snowshoeing, bowling, sleigh rides, hot air ballooning, sport fishing and even the Queen Paddle Steamer.
