Resort Description

Set in the Colorado Rockies, Breckenridge maintains its Old West charm of the gold mining era.

Part of the Four Great Mountains linked ski area; Breckenridge is Americas highest resort, with guaranteed snow over a long season. Many difficult steep pistes will challenge serious skiers and intermediates will love a skiing adventure across four mountain peaks. An excellent ski school and a choice of easy runs will boost beginners confidence. Snowboarders will be delighted by one of Americas biggest snowboarding areas, with two state of the art dedicated parks!

The aprs-ski is great value in the lively, friendly bars that open late into the night. Over a hundred good value restaurants, many with a Victorian ambience, line the picturesque main street. Youll feel like youve taken a step back in time!

Interesting shops selling arts and crafts and a factory outlet will delight shoppers. Enjoy a play at the theatre or a film at the cinema. Swimming, a gym, aerobics, tennis and squash are available, along with ice-skating, sleigh rides and dog-sledding.

Breckenridges unique combination of authentic Victorian charm, modern amenities and first class skiing, make it a perfect holiday destination.
